Por qué para muchos "madurar" implica casarse? Estamos en el año 2026, no en los 60-70, cuyo objetivo en la vida de muchos era casarse y tener hijos.

Bruce Wayne sigue ahí casi por jubilar y no se ha casado. En Marvel solo Reed Richards y Sue Storm tienen un matrimonio "normal" y es porque los 4F son literalmente una familia. Scott se casó con Jean/Madelyne, pero ya no importa, incluso tuvo una larga relación con Emma Frost. A su hijo lo mandaron al futuro, porque los niños en los comics no aportan mucho (a menos que los secuestren número por medio).

Peter y MJ no necesitan volver a casarse, si quieren pueden tener una recaída y acostarse de vez en cuando. Tampoco es necesario que tengan hijos. Capaz que por culpa del simbionte haya quedado estéril, daría para una interesante historia.

Las frutas necesitan madurar, no los personajes de comics.

Es que nadie dice que se tienen que casar. Nomás que lo tienen prohibido. Y los personajes sí tienen que madurar, por algo el manga hace años que está destruyendo Marvel y DC juntos.

Yo creo que la decadencia de la dupla Marvel/DC y el auge de editoriales como Image está muy bien explicado por Robert Kirkman en una entrevista con Rob Liefeld (quién lo diría  ):

"I think it's a great time to be a comics fan. When you look at what Marvel and DC do in the grand scheme of the world, it's actually kind of limiting, you know? There's not an HBO Max that just gives you superhero shows. There's not a Prime Video that's just giving you superhero shows. And so anything around the comic book industry that generates excitement is going to eventually funnel things to Image Comics. If people love manga and they decide to try American comics, well, manga mostly translates to Image Comics. It's horror, it's sci-fi, it's action, it's romance, it's a mixture of all. It's sci-fi horror, it's it's horror superhero, it's everything. And you know, that's where you get the most original ideas and and and new ideas and new concepts and things that, you know, are off the beaten path. And the fact that D'orc is doing well and White Sky and things like Red Roots and Corpse Knight, the numbers on those books are absolutely astronomical. It's insane this excitement around everything that Image is doing right now, which I think is very justified because… there's like twelve different projects right now that are in varying stages of development and production that are, you know, adapting comics very closely and this this fervor around Image Comics is only going to get bigger as these projects launch. And the effect that you're seeing around Invincible is just going to grow exponentially."

Se le olvida comentar que todo eso que él dice, también te lo da Mad Cave, Bad Idea, Dark Horse, IDW, Boom,...
Es la cabeza de ratón, pero no es todo el ratón. Y de hecho, a Image estos años es casi la que menos cosas interesantes saca, pues la mitad de sus lanzamientos son de subsellos (McFarlane, ghost, TinyOnion,...) enclavado en su propio universo partícular.

Te dirán que quieres convertir a Peter Parker en James Bond (lo cual tampoco es que sea algo raro porque el Peter Parker picaflor dista de ser algo nuevo).

Realmente tampoco creo que sea algo particularmente complicado. Un Peter Parker de 25-28 años, fotógrafo, viviendo aventuras y con intereses románticos por ahí, para darle salsa al asunto. A MJ la mandas a Hollywood y a Tia May a Florida y punto. Fin del problema.

Yo me refería más a la parte en la que compara el manga con el cómic independiente. La variedad de estilos que no te dan las dos grandes. 

Si, si estoy de acuerdo, pero como socio de Image, lo vende como si ellos fueran la única alternativa.
Y siendo cierto, una gran parte de su producción está estructurads como las de los grandes, y no es tan diferente.
