Tema: Actualización de fichas de cómics (12/9/2018): Novelas gráficas y adaptaciones

[El viejo, feo, gafe, inútil, odiado, moribundo Sin Amigos]

   Hola a todos. Sed bienvenidos de nuevo a esta sección en la que os vamos informando puntualmente de las fichas que añadimos a nuestra base de datos.
   Durante la década de los 80, los cómics se hicieron adultos. Esas páginas impresas con colores de puntitos tan coloridas que la mayor parte de la sociedad veía para niños evolucionaron y se transformaron en novelas gráficas, impresas en mejor papel, con mejores técnicas de reproducción, con temática más variada y adulta, accesible a un público cada vez mayor. Fruto de ello fue la colección Marvel Graphic Novel, en la que además de presentar historias de primeros espadas como La Patrulla-X o Spiderman, se presentaron personajes nuevos, que continuaron a veces en series regulares, bien integrados en el Universo Marvel, como Los Nuevos Mutantes o Wolfpack, o bien en la Línea Epic, cuyos autores conservaban los derechos sobre su obra, que también contó con su línea de Novelas Gráficas. Asimismo, algunas de estas obras se dedicaron a adaptar éxitos de la gran pantalla, como la aventura de un pequeño gran héroe o la historia de alguien a quien le engañó una mujer que no era mala, sino que la habían dibujado así. Algunas de estas historias, por raro que suene, se publicaron de forma simultánea en novela gráfica, en miniserie y/o como parte de la colección Marvel Super Special, modificando ligeramente el contenido para adaptarlo al formato. Esta línea también acogió la aventura de cierto grupo de rock besucón y sangriento contra el mayor villano del Universo Marvel o a cierto cuarteto de Liverpool. Las miniseries anteriormente mencionadas vinieron a sumarse a la amplia oferta de adaptaciones de obras de la pequeña y la gran pantalla realizada por La Casa de las Ideas, que además de contar una historia que sucedió "Hace mucho tiempo, en una galaxia muy, muy lejana", descubrió a los lectores que el espacio era "la última frontera", narró la historia de un bárbaro cimmerio, profundizó en la dificultad de pronunciar las semivocales hyrkanias, enseñó lo que se puede hacer con un látigo y un sombrero o vio a las creaciones de Jim Henson tomar la Gran Manzana. Por si fuera poco, algunas de estas historias, junto a otras de los personajes de la factoría, se publicaron en un formato un tanto peculiar, los Marvel Illustrated Books, que recogían las aventuras en formato bolsillo, remontando las viñetas al más puro estilo Vértice.
   El compañero Ricardo Valer ha realizado un estupendo trabajo, recogiendo todas estas historias que aún no teníamos en nuetras base de datos, así como sus múltiples reediciones, las colecciones completas de estas e incluso algunos otros cómics incluidos en ellas, en esta impresionante actualización que abarca desde 1977 hasta 2018, casi ininterrumpidamente.
