Bueno, pues creo este tema para que podamos hablar del Escuadrón Suicida, esa serie creada por el guionista John Ostrander, junto a dibujantes varios, que entre finales de los 80 y principios de los 90 sentó cátedra de muchas maneras como una de las mejores series de DC del momento, con un reparto de lo más variopinto.

La idea original de Ostrander al crear al Escuadrón (aparecido previamente de forma breve en Legends) era la de reunir a una panda de criminales varios para trabajar bajo la constante mirada del Gobierno (representado por Amanda "The Wall" Waller) realizando misiones peligrosas en las que las vidas de los propios miembros son totalmente prescindibles. Fácil. Si huyes, mueres. Si sobrevives, a lo mejor te dan una amnistía. Y uno de ellos no volverá a casa!


Ah, sí, y luego hay otros que se pasan por ahí y también escriben al Escuadrón de vez en cuando.

Primero habría que explicar qué es Young Animal: promocionada por el antiguo cantante de My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way, es una iniciativa fundada en 2016 cuya finalidad es coger a superhéroes de DC y contar historias más experimentales que no se pueden contar en la continuidad principal de DC. De paso pro el camino es un recordatorio de la Vertigo de los años 80 y principios de los 90
